Current Events Guidelines

Every Thursday, the homework will be to bring in a current event from the newspaper, internet, or T.V. news.  If the article is in a newspaper or on the internet, either cut it out or print it, then bring it in.

Write on the top of the article where it came from and the date of the article.

For news from either television or radio, on a sheet of loose-leaf paper, write the following:

1.  The station it was on

2.  What time it was aired

3.  The topic (what it was about)

4.  What the reporter said about the topic

Each Friday, the current events will be collected and posted. Then we will discuss them as a class.  They will be posted on the current events board in the classroom.

Eventos Actuales

La tarea para el jueves será buscar un evento actual del periódico, el internet, o la televisión.  Si el artículo es de un periódico o del internet, lo trae a la escuela.

Escribe el nombre del periódico y la fecha.

Si las noticias son de la televisión o el radio, escribe  en una hoja de papel:

1.  El nombre de la estación de televisión

2.  A qué hora eran las noticias

3.  El asunto del evento

4.  Un resumen del evento

El viernes, colectaré los eventos actuales. Entonces, discutirimos a los eventos con la clase.  Los eventos se pondrán en un tablero en el aúla.
